PostSubject: ....operation ....   Thu Feb 14, 2008 12:12 pm

well ...

im not sure if i have told you all about this and seen as my operation is looming i thought i would ....

I am having a operation on the 8th April .. to have ligaments in my left ankle shortened ....

this is because it is so so weak from being twisted and stuff that the ligaments are so lacks that they arent able to support my ankle anymore .... therefore the ankle dislocates instead of twisting .... eep

my ankle leans in ... when i am standing straight whereas it should like everyone else ... be straight ....

I have been to countless physios and consultants .. and nothing has helped so my last resort is this operation ....

which is going to mean 6-8 weeks in plaster cast .. from my toes to my knee .... and up to 10 weeks off work .....

I know it will be so much better in the long run but i am so so scared .... and now im am in a mad rush to sort things out with work and hospital and home ....... and also figuring out how i am gonna bath for 6-8 weeks :OS .....

so all you guys better be here to help with my boredom and ranting when i have to op ... and up until the op .....

Thanks for listening :)
xx
