PostSubject: Best breast pump   Tue Mar 06, 2007 8:43 am

I have an Avent manual breast pump from when I expressed with Kerrie. But I really didn't get on with it and am thinking maybe I should try an electric one.

Has anyone used an electric breast pump, if so was it any good?

Hey sammy! I used the Medela Pump in Style double pump...well I'm still using it. It has been great and I haven't had any problems with mine. I also like their storage bags. They attach right to the pump and the milk goes directly into the bag to freeze if you want.

I'd just like to thanks about ur advice on the Medela mini...it's fantastic and Aislyn is just starting to get used to a bottle as well as breast. It's so much more fast and effective then the manual advent one I had for Kerrie! Thumbup

Why do men find the pump so fascinating? My husband went out to purchase mine right after we got home from the hospital b/c I was engorged & in severe pain. When he arrived home with it, he decided to test it on HIMSELF before I used it! Needless to say it was quite hilarious!!! I laughed so hard my csection incision hurt!
