Yup, gas guzzlers getting it harsh I'm afraid.

2p cut on income tax Jump

More than 600,000 families will gain from increases in child benefit.

Increases to child tax credit will benefit 220,000 lower-income families from next year.

An extra 50,000 pensioners will pay no income tax at all from next year, after Brown raised personal allowances.

And 10,000 jobs will be created thanks to a groundbreaking scheme involving major companies including M&S, Sainsbury's and Tesco. They have agreed to consider unemployed applicants for jobs if they pass a "work trial".

Grants of 4,000 for pensioners for insulation and central heating.

11p increase in packet of 20 cigarettes. (haha)

Inheritance tax allowance rise to 350,000 by 2010 from 285,000.

Increases in spending on education from 60 billion this year to 74 billion by 2010.

Rises of 1p per pint of beer, 5p on bottle of wine, 7p on sparkling wine, but freeze in duty on spirits.

I think ppl who have 'gas guzzlers' are gonna be pretty peed. I mean the tax will go from 220 to 400! Pretty harsh, but then again the goverment is getting hard on the 'Green' thing. Which in my opinion is a load of cobs!

Well we will see how it turns out. The papers are saying that its all a big con. Considering all the other taxes are major, 2p off income tax isnt really a big deal if you think about it lol.

Makes you sick when you see the NHS going down hill considering all this tax we pay. They say 'we just havent got the staff these days' Well...bloody pump some cash into the system so we can afford to pay em to work then!! No, instead they send money to the MOD to pay for war!
