Hi ladies

Thank you for your kind thoughts. We finally got DH's results yesterday. It's not great. He has to go back for another test at the end of March. It seems there is a problem with motility and he produces "vacuous" (sp?) stuff rather than lots of sperm. He is going to ring the consultant on Monday to talk it thru as we were both a bit upset yesterday.

I still keep thinking that back in October he had a bad chest infection, which he finally got treated in December and I wonder if that could have impacted on his results as I know it takes 3 months for sperm to produce...

We are praying hard but I think we are going to stop TTC for a while as we are a bit emotional at the moment.

Good luck to everyone else. xx

My sister and her BF (ex bf now) where trying to concieve, he had a low sperm count, and she has PCOS. They never thought they would be able to have a baby, but My sister became pregnant. You just got to keep trying.

Good luck Flower Giveflowers

Having spoken to the doc yesterday we are being referred to the infertility clinic. The consultant who did the SA said that we would be good candidates for IUI so I guess we have some hope. It seems that DH's main problem is motility - he produces sperm but they don't move.BUT with IUI they get "washed" and put into place so that could work for us.

We just have to wait to get an appointment and with the NHS I don't know how long that will be...

Thanks Jenna. I hope it works for us, but at least now we feel like the pressure is off a bit and can relax. Also, I'm not going to stress about whether I'm pregnant or not each month as I know that I won't be without medical help.

I think that sounds a bit strange but I hope you know what I mean
