I dont know what this lady is thinking of.I have always put my baby in the front and I assumed you were supposed too because they face back way not front ways untill they are a certain weight, then they can forward face at the back. If you put them in the back, you cant see them as they are facing the other way and this would make me feel uncomfortable that I cant see them.

Don't forget that airbags that are fitted in the front of a vehicle can and do cause a lot of child injuries and some deaths every year. As such i think there is a minimum age in the front now ( it may be worth checking ).

sorry for the bad news. sad

I always had mine in the front and my car has airbags but we had them disconnected so that my little ones could go in the front until older

I thought that is how it is now. I always put my son in the front, i do not have air bags on the passenger side. But i have the same problem only a 2 door car and its a right pain trying to get him in the back.

Thats right. Its also illegal to have a child under 12 (not sure there might be a little older) to be sat in the paasenger seat using a booster too.

If you have to put your baby in the passenger seat just make sure the AirBag is off.

I've always put baby in the back on the opposite side as the driver, thats what I was told was safest.
